Black Women Lead – A Special Juneteenth Conversation

The Southern Wake Democrats, in partnership with The Progressive Democrats of Wake County, The Cary/Western Wake Democrats, The Wake Democratic Men’s Club, the African American Caucus of the WCDP, the Democratic Women of Wake County, and the LGBTQ Democrats of Wake County, are excited to invite you to Black Women Lead, a special Juneteenth conversation.

This event will honor our amazing female, minority leaders from across the state, discuss their unique gifts and challenges, and celebrate what makes them special.

Our panel will include: Rep. Sydney Batch – NC House – District 37, Jessica Holmes – Chair of the Wake County Board of Commissioners and Candidate for NC Commissioner of Labor, Nicole Dozier – Apex Mayor Pro Tem, Bobbie Richardson – NCDP 1st Vice Chair and former NC House Representative, and Sen. Erica Smith – NC Senate – District 3 and Candidate for US Senate. Special guest moderator, Montica Talmadge, will be presiding.
