GUILFORD – Draw The Line Triad Town Hall
December 5 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm EST
Earlier this year, Guilford County voters like you told us that you wanted your lawmakers to pass laws in 2019 that were “for the people.” You also said you wanted the chance to learn how your lawmakers voted (and why) on the issues you care about.
Now, after the second-longest legislative session in North Carolina’s history — which saw more redistricting, more extreme proposals, and more changes to how and when we vote — you finally get the chance to address your legislative delegation directly and draw the line between those who were for the issues you care about and not.
Join us for the “Draw the Line” Triad Town Hall on Thurs., December 5, at 6 p.m., at Shiloh Baptist Church (Shiloh Baptist Church, 1210 S Eugene St, Greensboro, NC 27406).
Our December “Draw the Line” Town Halls will give North Carolinians a first chance, post legislative session, to ask state lawmakers whose side they were on in 2019 on everything from limits to voting access, to attacks on immigrants, to the state budget, and make your voices heard on reforms you’d like to see.
We’ve invited all of the Guilford County delegation — Republicans and Democrats — as well as policy experts, to join us for a night of public discussion and comment. Lawmakers in attendance will talk about their votes, the broader legislative session, and take questions from the public.
Don’t miss this chance to address your legislative delegation ahead of 2020 — RSVP NOW: demnc.co/drawgso
